Quick Recall Team Still Looking for Members

Written by Julia Kirchner The Pleasure Ridge Park Quick Recall team is still encouraging freshman and sophomore students to give Quick Recall a try. “We’re a team of students who all use our random knowledge to answer quick questions,” junior Gabe Tilly said. Matches consist of quickly answering questions in two 12-minute halves. Kristen Shipman, coach and PRP English teacher relates the format of these matches to Jeopardy. Trump Calls Out NFL Players for Kneeling during Anthem which Leads to Players’ Big Response

By Reilly Geraghty Sunday is traditionally a day of football for Americans. This past Sunday, the professional football players of the NFL did more than play the game. Over 200 players chose to sit or kneel during the national anthem as a sign of protest. NFL player Colin Kaepernick started kneeling during the playing of the national anthem in the 2016 season as a symbol of silent protest for racial injustice and police brutality.
