The PRP Marching Band performed in their first competition of the year this past weekend at Campbell County. They explained that they did well for it being their first competition, but have tons of room to improve.
“This weekend we had a really good run of our show. There were a few errors that we made, but they are very fixable and we should have another good show this coming weekend,” Senior Nathan Jackson said.
The band continued to stress how well they performed, including how the incoming freshman did in this past weekend. They have no doubts that they will be able to improve by the next competition. The Marching Band will compete next on Saturday September 22, 2018 at PRP High School starting at 1:00pm and performing at 4:00pm. They encourage everyone to come out and support.
“There were a few freshmen that were really struggling at the beginning but have really stepped up. They did well for their first competition,” Senior Trinity Burley said.
