’22 Class Officers

Written By Adrianna LoChirco

Elections just took place at PRP High school to determine Class of ’22 Officers. Students running were to perform a speech in front of the freshman class, explaining why they felt that they were a good match for the role. The freshmen were able to vote for the candidate of their choosing. There are five class officer positions: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and class historian. The 2022 Class Officer’s are Noah Hill, Nolan Bott, Zora- Marie Bridwell, and Camryn Conley.

“I was very shocked when I heard my name called on the announcements, I didn’t think people would vote for me.” said President Noah Hill.

Being a class officer takes great responsibility and leadership skills. All of the officers must work with each other to bring the class together and develop strategies to strengthen the class. Officers will design a t-shirt for 9th graders, which freshman students will be able to purchase. Officers will also be in charge of planning activities and programs held. Being a class officer is a major job to have and is to be taken seriously.

“My goal for this year is to plan more activities and get the freshman more involved,” said Hill.

One way the class officers are working to reach their goal of involvement includes the kickball game. Teachers hope to see freshman participating and having fun with their classmates in this activity that will take place on October 25th. There are a lot more ideas planned for the 2018-19 school year!
